FROM NASSAU TO KAMALAME CAY

Many international airlines may offer service to Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau Bahamas. Subsequently, shared or private flights are available to Fresh creek Andros or for an effortless arrival – try a private seaplane landing along the shoreline of Kamalame Cay. Once you have selected your international flight, select one of the options provided to get to Andros Bahamas or to land directly on the cay.

  • Seaplanes Safaris

    This five (5) passenger aircraft departs from Nassau and lands on the shoreline of Kamalame Cay. Approx $2000 each way. This is not a shared charter. Your Concierge - will assist with reserving this charter once your accommodation is reserved.

  • Private Blessings Aviation Charter

    Offers a five (5) passenger Cessna fixed wing plane for approx. $1225 one way from Odyssey Aviation Nassau landing in Fresh Creek Andros. Your Concierge - will assist with reserving this charter once your accommodation is reserved.

  • PRIVATE TITAN AIR CHARTER

    This nine (9) passenger plane departs from General Aviation Centre in Nassau; $2500 roundtrip. Your Concierge - will assist with reserving this charter once your accommodation is reserved.

  • Private Fig Air Helicopters

     Approximately $2500 one way (for 6 seats). This is not a shared charter. Your Concierge - will assist with reserving this charter once your accommodation is reserved.

TAXI AND ARRIVAL DETAILS
Upon confirming your accommodation, kindly advise your Concierge if you wish to reserve any private charters; all other shared flights may be booked on the airline's website. Upon disembarking your International flight at the Lynden Pindling International Airport, kindly proceed to the Connecting Flights/Family Islands Line in Immigration - on the far left of the hall. Thereafter, if you are booked on any domestic carrier other than Le Air, kindly exit the Lynden Pindling International Airport and take any of the licensed cabs to your selected FBO - whether General, Jet, or Odyssey Aviation where you will meet the captain of your flight. This ride will not be longer than 5-8  minutes and rates begin at $25 USD one way.
 
Upon disembarking in Andros Town (Fresh Creek Airport), a taxi driver will meet you outside with a Kamalame sign, to take you on a 20-minute ride to Kamalame's ferry dock, where the ferry will be waiting to take you across to Kamalame (5-8 min ride).
Please pay the driver cash US$50 for the first two (2) guests. Any additional guests in the cab will attract $4 per person.
If you land at San Andros Airport, a taxi driver will meet you outside with a Kamalame sign, to take you on a 45-minute ride to Kamalame's ferry dock, where the ferry will be waiting to take you across to Kamalame (5-8 min ride).
Please pay the driver cash US$100 for the first two (2) guests. Any additional guests in the cab will attract $4 per person.
Aircraft are prohibited from flying over Bahamian waters after sunset and before sunrise. Kindly verify prior to reserving your international flights.

FLYING FROM FORT LAUDERDALE / MIAMI

An effortless 1 hour flight from Miami-Dade or Broward counties or 1.5 hours from The Fort Lauderdale Executive airport is the way to arrive in style. Guests may clear customs in Bimini, Fresh Creek or San Andros Airports. If arriving by seaplane, your pilot will gently land along the pristine beaches of Kamalame Cay where your vacation begins with a scenic walk to the Pineapple House for your concierge check-in. Fixed winged planes land at Fresh Creek or San Andros International airports.
